According to an unnamed source cited by Radar Online, Camilla was furious upon learning that Charles was open to rebuilding his relationship with Harry and Meghan Markle. The source claimed that the Sussexes’ return to the UK had created tensions within the royal family. Harry and Meghan are expected to remain non-working royals while living in a private residence in Britain.
While the King is ecstatic at the prospect of spending time with his son and grandchildren, the Queen seems to think otherwise. Camilla is reportedly enraged with Harry and Meghan for maneuvering their way back to the British monarchy.
The reported tension also reflects Harry’s criticism of Camilla in his 2023 memoir, Spare. In the book, Harry accused his stepmother of leaking stories to the media in an effort to improve her public image, allegations that have contributed to the strained relationship between the two.
As per a royal source, it makes Camilla “sick to her stomach” that Harry and Meghan have returned as though nothing has happened.
