A royal critic has called out Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for seeking “more attention” after moving to the UK. The remark came after another expert commented on the Sussexes’ choice to send their children to a lavish school. Archie and Lilibet are attending a private UK school whose name has not been made public.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle called out for being in ‘poor me’ phase
Angela Levin, a royal critic, took to X (formerly Twitter) to reply to thoughts shared by another account on the platform about a report on the Sussexes’ choice of school for their children. She wrote, “They like more attention. It’s the ‘poor me’ phase.” The original post that she commented on was itself reposting a report from Page Six with the headline “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle sending children to ritzy $35K-a-year prep school.”
The original post that Levin commented on accuses Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of “trying to conceal information” around where their children go to school to make it “more valuable” in order to “encourage the media to dig so that the couple can cry ‘victim.'”
Recently, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield claimed that residents in the Cotswolds received warning letters from schools attended by Harry and Meghan’s children, outlining strict rules concerning the royal kids. “The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest,” she added.
The letter stated that the warning was intended to ensure a happy and safe environment for the children while allowing them to enjoy their school lives. “It then reminded parents and carers not to photograph or film other children without permission, or share photographs, information or details about pupils or their families on social media,” she explained.
