What happens in Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass’ trailer?
The trailer offers a look at the movie’s new setting and shows that the latest adventure will be very different from the classic Tom and Jerry cartoons.
Tom and Jerry can be seen flying over the rooftops of the ancient city while riding a decorated rocket-powered kite. The pair attempts to rescue their new animal friends, who are tied to a tall pillar while villagers watch nearby. The rescue mission quickly goes wrong in classic Tom and Jerry fashion.
The duo encounters a giant purple creature known as the Mega Rat. Jerry is forced to run and bounce across tightropes while trying to avoid the monster’s claws. Meanwhile, Tom finds himself being thrown around during the chaotic fight.
Despite the chaos, Tom and Jerry eventually free their friends and land safely on the roof of a pagoda.
