Meghan Markle Eyes King Charles Collaboration on Something Completely Unexpected — Source

Meghan Markle is reportedly hoping King Charles will do more than accept a jar of her jam. According to an insider, the Duchess of Sussex sees a UK reunion with the King as a chance to give her As Ever brand a real boost. The plan reportedly goes beyond a peace offering and edges into business territory.

Meghan Markle looks to collaborate with King Charles on jams, per source

Meghan Markle reportedly sees her UK visit as more than a family reunion. A source told Heat World that the Duchess isn’t limiting herself to acting, and her brand is still going to be a huge focus. Reportedly, she’s eager to prove there’s a market for her products across the pond, and she isn’t ruling out chat show appearances to promote herself and what she’s selling.

An insider said the reunion could bring public support from King Charles. He might “publicly show her and her brand some support,” they said. Even one photo together or a kind comment online “would mean the world,” they added.

But there’s reportedly a twist nobody saw coming: a battle involving jams. King Charles founded his own Duchy Organic brand back in 1990. Its profits still fund his charitable trust today. That setup looks very different from Meghan’s private business. Instead of treating that as competition, though, Meghan’s “ideal” scenario is said to be a straightforward collaboration, with the insider describing her wish for “her jam on the shelf beside the Duchy’s jam.”

The Duchy’s proceeds fund charity, while As Ever turns a profit for Meghan. That difference could create an issue with King Charles agreeing to any deal.

None of these claims have been confirmed by Buckingham Palace or representatives for the Sussexes. For now, whether Charles ever puts his name behind hers remains an open question.
