Reacher Season 4 Episode 6 introduced a mysterious new villain that left fans scrambling for answers. Amisha and Lila met with a man at a warehouse and thanked him “for your act of selflessness.” The show credited actor Talijah Levene as the “Shadowy Figure” in the episode’s official cast list.
Russell Plum first uncovered the character’s name in Episode 5. He traced Lila’s platinum American Express card and discovered it funded a ticket from Djibouti. The ticket belonged to a man named Tomas Waberi. Plum shared this finding with Tamara and Jacob before the bridge confrontation.
Waberi finally appeared on screen in Episode 6’s warehouse scene. Lila and Amisha told him they would be in his debt. They also declared they were there to serve him. Lila later told Amisha, “I’ll walk through hell with you.” The duo also had computer experts use AI to enhance the background of the contested photograph.
Fans flooded social media with questions about the character’s identity. One X user wrote, “WTF is this Tomas Waberi guy, and why does he have Lila and Amisha moving scared?” Another fan posted, “Who tf is this????? And why is Amisha and Lila thanking him for his selflessness and saying she wants to serve him?????” A third viewer simply asked, “Hold up… who is this new character in reacher?”
The show has not yet revealed Waberi’s full role in Lila and Amisha’s plan. However, their subservient behavior toward him stands in sharp contrast to their usual ruthlessness. Meanwhile, Lila’s team set up a laboratory and lined up buyers for an upcoming auction.
The episode also revealed that the duo had a nervous chemist working under pressure to create something urgently. Waberi’s connection to this operation remains unclear heading into Episode 7.
