A film that came and went from theaters with little fanfare last year is finding a second life online. Stolen Girl, the 2025 action thriller led by Kate Beckinsale, has climbed back into the streaming conversation nearly a year after its release, getting fresh viewership on Prime Video.
Stolen Girl finds new audience on Prime Video
The film ranked No. 5 on Amazon Prime Video’s overall Top 10 chart in the United States on September 1, 2026, according to FlixPatrol. It sat alongside titles including Reacher, Sterling Point, The Last Sunrise, and Good Fortune. Among movies specifically, Stolen Girl performed even better, landing at No. 3, trailing only Good Fortune and Masters of the Universe, and ahead of Project Hail Mary.
The renewed interest comes despite the film carrying no Rotten Tomatoes score. Audience discovery, rather than critical buzz, largely drives its momentum on Prime Video. Director James Kent drew inspiration from real-life events for Stolen Girl. It centers on Maureen Dabbagh, played by Beckinsale, whose life falls apart after her ex-husband abducts their young daughter and disappears with her into the Middle East. Years of grief and failed searches leave Maureen desperate for answers.
Her path eventually crosses with Robeson, played by Scott Eastwood, a former Marine who specializes in recovering abducted children. The two form a tense alliance to track down her daughter, a search that pulls them into covert operations, international intrigue, and a tangle of institutional corruption. As they dig further, they find themselves confronting a web of betrayal tied to the CIA, racing against time before it’s too late to bring the girl home.
Beyond Beckinsale and Eastwood, the film features Jordan Duvigneau as Carl, Matt Craven as Joe, Alejandra Howard as Amina, Ana Golja as Nora, and Arvin Kananian as Karim. The supporting cast also includes Talia Asseraf, Massimo McQueen, Robert Farrior, Nowar Yusuf, Paten Hughes, Maddalena Vallecchi Williams, Nikki Taylor, and Jon Kellam.
