An expert recently revealed why Donald Trump relies heavily on his close female aides, whom the former described as his ‘work wives.’ Currently, one of Trump’s most popular aides is Natalie Harp, who is often seen accompanying the US President. In addition to Harp, Trump also gets assistance from his communications advisor, Margio Martin.

Top political analyst David Rothkopf recently spoke on The Daily Beast podcast and shared why Donald Trump depends so much on his female aides. Rothkopf’s statement comes amid the rising attention on the close bond between the President and his political aide Harp.
Rothkopf said, “Trump doesn’t have a wife around him. He doesn’t have kids around him. I don’t think he likes his kids. He certainly didn’t go to Don Jr.’s wedding. People beyond, like, one degree of separation can’t be trusted. He’s paranoid.” He asserted that apart from Harp, Trump is fond of having Margo Martin in his circle as well. In his first term, he had the support of Hope Hicks.
The expert added that a major reason Trump has Harp around is that she showers him with praise. He described Harp as a “really egregious case” and stated that she heavily compliments him with phrases like, “You’re great boss. You’re a wonderful man. I love you. You fill my heart.”
A similar claim was previously made by Sarah Matthews, former deputy secretary for Trump.
She told Deadline in August that Harp has introduced the President to AI slop. Moreover, Matthews said Harp uses this AI slop to show him positive tweets and news articles about Trump. Thus, boosting his ego. However, she also conveyed that many people working at the White House find Harp’s devotion to Trump “a little odd.”
