Meghan Markle has reportedly made some outrageous demands for her new UK house following her return to Britain. According to multiple reports, Prince Harry and Meghan privately flew from California to Birmingham on August 26 and plan to remain in the UK for an extended period.
The Sussexes are reportedly set to live in a private, non-royal property in the Cotswolds while retaining their homes in Montecito and Portugal.
Meghan Markle has a list of demands as she returns to UK, sources claim
Meghan Markle has reportedly laid out a list of extravagant demands for her new UK home following her return to Britain. Sources close to the Daily Mail revealed that the former actress knows exactly what she wants from her new abode. According to the sources, Meghan wants nine bedrooms in her rumored Cotswolds property, matching the number of rooms in her lavish $16 million Montecito home.
She also reportedly wants a film studio on the property to help her produce content and run her lifestyle brand, As Ever, while based in Britain. A source explained that the former “Suits” star would most likely end up producing “home-making content” in the UK “because that is the heart of who she is.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry reportedly wants a “lot of land” with “no footpaths going across it to protect their privacy.” Three separate sources reportedly told the outlet that, despite claims that a $16.4 million property has been secured, no deal has been finalized. The couple also plans to retain their homes in Montecito and Portugal while spending an extended period in the UK.
Harry is reportedly planning to take on a more “full-time dad” role while focusing on his UK commitments, including the Invictus Games in Birmingham next year. The Duchess of Sussex, meanwhile, is expected to “come and go” as she continues working on As Ever and her other business ventures.
Furthermore, friends reportedly insist that the Sussexes share a common vision for their return to Britain. One source said: “They have an English countryside dream. This will be the first time that Harry has lived in the UK as a private citizen where no one can demand any access to him.”
