An extremely popular Hulu TV show, featuring DCEU and The White Lotus stars, has been renewed for Season 2. The series premiered just a month ago on the streaming service.
It’s now confirmed that Emmy Rossum‘s hit crime-mystery thriller TV show Furious will get a Season 2, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The series comes from 20th Television and Searchlight Television.
Loosely based on the 1987 movie Black Widow, Furious was initially launched on July 27, 2026. Its renewal update comes just days ahead of the finale, set to arrive on August 31, 2026.

Emmy Rossum plays the FBI agent Alice Black in Hulu’s Furious. She is tasked with tracking a serial killer, played by Lola Petticrew.
According to the official synopsis, both female characters “walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur.” The next chapter is expected to feature Rossum’s Black taking on a new case.
Besides the former Shameless star, Furious also features other notable names, including Scoot McNairy, known for his roles in DCEU’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Speak No Evil. The White Lotus alum Jake Lacy is also a crucial part of the series alongside Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Rob Delaney, Hope Davis, Rob Yang, and Steve Way.
Ever since its premiere, Furious has been getting a phenomenal response from critics as well as viewers. Currently, it holds a near-perfect Tomatometer score of 98% and a solid Popcornmeter score of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Early reports indicate that Furious may also enter Nielsen’s top 10 streaming charts for its premiere week. The details that are expected to be released later today.
Furious has Elizabeth Meriwether (The Dropout, Dying for Sex, New Girl) as the showrunner and executive producer alongside Rossum, Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, Sam Hoffman, and Brian Kirk.
