Meghan Markle’s Royal-Era Airport Look Resurfaces Amid UK Return — Report

Meghan Markle’s 2018 airport outfit has resurfaced as her reported return to the UK brings renewed attention to some of her most memorable royal-era looks. The Duchess of Sussex was hailed as “chic and sophisticated” in a Givenchy travel ensemble after arriving in Dublin.

The throwback comes amid reports that she and Prince Harry have returned to Britain with Archie and Lilibet, putting the spotlight back on one subtle handbag detail that completed her polished look.

Meghan Markle reportedly wore Givenchy for glamorous Dublin airport look back in 2018

According to a HELLO! Magazine report, Meghan Markle’s 2018 Dublin airport look has resurfaced amid renewed attention on the Sussexes’ reported return to the UK. The outlet reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived back in Britain on Wednesday.

BBC News said the family flew privately from California to Birmingham. Royal travel style often attracts attention, with airport arrivals offering photographers a glimpse of what royals wear after long journeys.

Meanwhile, HELLO! revisited Meghan’s July 10, 2018, arrival at Dublin Airport, where she touched down in Ireland alongside Prince Harry during their official visit. The former “Suits” actress opted for an emerald green Givenchy top and figure-hugging pencil skirt, completing the look with a tan tote from Scottish brand Strathberry. She wore her hair in a sleek bun, while Harry arrived in a navy blue suit.

However, the polished look came with one tiny fashion mishap. The outlet noted that Meghan appeared to have left the protective plastic on the gold studs underneath her tote. The minor detail did little to overshadow the bag’s success, however, as it reportedly sold out within hours of Meghan carrying it.

Strathberry co-owner Leeanne Hundleby told HELLO! at the time, “We are delighted.” She added that the Duchess chose Strathberry for her “debut official overseas visit to Dublin.” Hundleby also praised Meghan, saying she looked “so chic and sophisticated.”

The throwback look has now resurfaced as the Sussexes reportedly enter a new chapter in the UK. HELLO! reported that the couple were expected to remain in Britain for an “extended period,” while Archie and Lilibet were reportedly enrolled in British schools for September. The Cotswolds was also suggested as a potential base for the family.

For Markle, the Dublin airport ensemble offers a nostalgic glimpse at her royal-era style, while the renewed attention places the 2018 look against the backdrop of her reported return to the UK.
