Meghan Markle‘s return to acting has met with a shocking twist after reports of her involvement in Guy Ritchie‘s TV show. The former Suits star and the Duchess of Sussex was set to appear in The Gentlemen Season 3.
A new update has revealed that her casting has now been withdrawn from The Gentlemen Season 3, according to editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, Tina Brown.
The cause of Markle’s withdrawal from Guy Ritchie’s TV show is the growing backlash in the UK. Brown wrote that it “was so intense, it became untenable to go forward. This does not bode well for Meghan’s acting comeback in the UK.”
