Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have been quietly house hunting in Britain. Their alleged search is said to have taken place during their recent stay in the Cotswolds. According to a new report, the couple spent several days at a private property before exploring the surrounding area. Now, sources suggest they may have already found a home as they consider a new chapter in the UK.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to have stayed at a private home in the Cotswolds during their most recent UK visit in July. The property reportedly belonged to a wealthy associate. The couple is also said to have spent time looking at homes in the area (via the Daily Mail).
The reported house hunt adds fresh detail to speculation about their future plans. During the July trip, it is understood Harry took his family to Highgrove, where they visited King Charles. They also traveled to Althorp to visit Princess Diana’s grave. Beyond those outings, however, their movements were largely unknown.
Now, royal watchers are viewing the Cotswolds stay as a possible scouting trip. The couple is believed to have already found a property. In fact, there is also speculation that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet may have been considered for a local prep school.
If true, the Cotswolds would not be unfamiliar territory for the family. Harry and Markle previously lived in a rented farmhouse there in 2018. Their stay apparently came to an end after the property’s location was exposed through aerial photographs. Soon after, Harry reportedly sued the paparazzi agency over the privacy breach.
Interestingly, their interest in the region may have started much earlier. Property sources previously claimed that people connected to the couple made discreet inquiries about high-end rentals in the area last October. At the time, one local source told the Daily Mail it would “make complete sense” for them to rent there again.
