Prince Harry’s Court Loss ‘Knocked Him’ Harder Than He Admits — Source

Prince Harry has reportedly struggled with the fallout from his latest court defeat, with a royal commentator claiming the legal setback has affected him more deeply than he has shown publicly. The Duke of Sussex now faces the possibility of a substantial legal bill after losing his High Court privacy case against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail.

Harry returned to Britain with Meghan Markle, 45, and privately reunited with his father, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla after years of strained relations. However, his legal battle added another challenge.

In July, the High Court ruled against Harry and fellow claimants, including Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley, after finding they had not provided enough evidence to support their allegations against Associated Newspapers. The claimants accused the publisher of unlawfully obtaining private information. Following the ruling, they could now face millions of pounds in legal costs.

Royal commentator Neil Sean has now suggested to Radar Online that the defeat has taken a serious toll on Harry. “What’s interesting is how it’s all brought on by himself,” Sean said, while discussing the Duke’s recent struggles.

The longtime Sussex critic claimed, “He’s making it very public to the rest of the world, as to just how difficult things have become for him over the last few weeks.” He went on to describe Harry as “a man literally on the edge,” adding that his apparent mindset did not look healthy to him.

The court loss could prove particularly difficult for Harry because the case carries potential financial consequences. The Duke and the other claimants may have to contribute toward the legal expenses incurred by Associated Newspapers.

Sean argued that the situation could feel unfamiliar to Harry because he no longer has the same level of institutional support he once had as a working member of the Royal Family. “I think this Daily Mail thing has knocked him far more than even he would wish to admit,” Sean claimed.
