The adult comedy has secured a rare place on iTunes’ Top Movie Downloads chart, giving Olivia Wilde’s latest film a fresh jolt after its theatrical run. The movie arrived digitally Tuesday, August 11, and has quickly found an audience at home.

As per Pop Vortex, The Invite is No 1 on iTunes Top Movies list, beating titles like Minions & Monsters, Michael, Jackass: Best and Last, Obsession (2026), Disclosure Day, and more. The Invite puts a struggling marriage under a microscope when Joe and Angela invite their mysterious upstairs neighbors over for dinner.
Seth Rogen plays Joe, while Wilde portrays Angela, with Cruz and Edward Norton completing the central quartet as Piña and Hawk. Their seemingly innocent evening gradually becomes a chaotic mix of secrets, sexual tension and uncomfortable revelations.
Wilde directed the R-rated comedy, working from a screenplay by Will McCormack and Rashida Jones, with Cesc Gay credited for the story.
