The trailer for the first season of the thriller series Neagley was dropped by Prime Video on August 12, 2026. The trailer release coincides with the release of Reacher season 4 on August 12, 2026.
Maria Sten will be playing the lead role for the series as Frances Neagley. The trailer reveals that Neagley will be investigating a dangerous case after the mysterious death of one of her old friends. While this will be a personal mission for Neagley, she will be joined by Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson. The series is based on characters from Lee Child’s novels.
The synopsis of the film reads, “Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”

Alan Ritchson returns as Jack Reacher in Neagley
Alan Ritchson will be reprising his role as Jack Reacher in the Prime Video spin-off series. The private investigator from Chicago, Neagley, has an old connection with Reacher. The trailer delves into how Frances Neagley finds out that her friend, who died in an accident, was seemingly impacted by a dangerous cult group that works by remaining undercover. While Alan Ritchson as Reacher will be part of this eight-episode series, Sten as Neagley will be leading the investigation.
Alongside Maria Sten and Alan Ritchson, the cast will feature Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole, Jasper Jones as Keno, and Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow.
Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios are producing the series. Nick Santora is creating and executive producing the thriller series. Alongside him, Lee Child, Sam Hill, Don Granger, Lisa Kussner, and Adam Higgs are executive producers for Neagley.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on September 16, 2026.
