This is yet another incident in his second term in which Trump seemed to doze off during an important ceremony. The event centered on an executive order signed by the President regarding changes to the child vaccine policy.

According to a People Magazine report, Donald Trump recently attended an event in the Oval Office regarding an executive order but appeared to be sleepy.
In the photos from the meeting that are going viral, Trump could be seen with his eyes seemingly closed and his head tilted while the National Institutes of Health (NIH) director spoke in the Oval Office. However, the White House has not yet commented on the incident.
The ceremony was related to an executive order on changes the Trump administration is implementing to the child vaccine schedule. Per the new order, all child vaccines should be administered on separate visits.
However, critics argue that the changes will make the vaccination drive costly for parents. Trump also added that the changes will help in “ensuring that Americans are receiving the best scientifically supported medical advice in the world, as well as protecting religious liberty and parental authority.” The vaccine that has been most affected by the changes is the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine.
This is not the first time Trump has been caught appearing to doze off during important events. Previously, Trump appeared to doze off during the Memorial Day ceremony in May. Numerous journalists called out the President on social media. In response, the White House Rapid Response Team responded to them in its own posts on X (formerly Twitter).
