Donald Trump is refusing to slow down from making jokes about running for president for a third term, having recently shared an AI-generated photo suggesting the same. The POTUS took to social media to once again highlight his supposed plans to contest the 2028 presidential election, despite the prospect being a direct violation of the Constitution.
Donald Trump’s latest AI post revives his repeated third-term teasing despite the 22nd Amendment
On Friday night, the Republican Party leader shared two AI-generated pictures on his Truth Social profile carrying messages for his proposed election campaigns in the next presidential election.
One of the August 7 posts depicted Trump standing at a podium with his head down as he adjusted a ‘Trump 2028’ hat in front of the American flag. The image featured yet another imprint of his hypothesized run, along with his infamous tagline, ‘Make America Great Again.’
The second AI-generated photo posted on his Truth Social saw Donald Trump pose confidently in front of a packed crowd who appeared to support his cause while dining and drinking in the background. The picture once again included the same ‘Trump 2028’ banner and the ‘MAGA’ tagline. Additionally, the sky in the image mimicked the aesthetics of Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘The Starry Night’ painting for some undisclosed reason.
While the POTUS did not give any context to his ‘Trump 2028’ hat photo, he did include a caption alongside the second post, which simply read, “Just kidding!” Notably, this is the second time that Donald Trump has shared the AI-generated dinner picture, having posted the same photo without a caption last week.
The 80-year-old has continuously hinted at his apparent plans to vie for a third presidential term. Two months ago, Trump casually insinuated that his second and ongoing tenure at the White House would last more than its intended four years. At the moment, this stands to be an unrealistic precedent as per the Constitution’s 22nd Amendment.
