A source told Closer Online William and Charles “work very hard to put on a united front” in public. Their private meetings, however, are reportedly much more complicated. According to the insider, William often leaves those discussions feeling “incredibly frustrated.” At home, Middleton is allegedly the one trying to “calm him down.” The source claimed William sometimes returns in a “terrible mood” after speaking with his father.
However, Middleton’s concern does not stop there. She is said to be worried about what the ongoing tension is doing to William. More importantly, the insider claimed she fears the disagreement could become too obvious to the public.
William, meanwhile, is reportedly unwilling to simply keep the peace. The source claimed he “understands why she’s concerned” but does not want to support decisions he fundamentally disagrees with.
