According to an insider, the Duke of Sussex seems to believe that his reconciliation with his father is going in the right direction. Therefore, he allegedly wants the monarch to attend the 2027 Invictus Games. For those unversed, the “Spare” author reunited with the king last month. He also brought Meghan Markle and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the reunion.

Prince Harry and King Charles’ reunion could reportedly lead to many more encounters. An insider told RadarOnline that the duke has allegedly been expecting his father to accept the 2027 Invictus Games invitation. He seemingly wants to flaunt his bond with his family at a public event.
“Having the King attend the Invictus Games would represent far more than simply appearing at a public event. For Harry, it would be a powerful symbol that they have turned a corner and are prepared to move forward together. He wants his father by his side as part of a full reunion,” they said.
Harry founded the competition in 2014, providing a platform to injured, wounded, and sick military personnel and veterans. It’s reportedly one of the Duke’s biggest achievements, and he would likely want to make the event extra special next year. Last month, he visited the UK for the same cause and also made time to reconcile with his father.
Their reunion reportedly gave Harry hope of rebuilding his family ties. Not just him, a source claimed that Charles too might want to welcome his second son back into his life. “There is a growing sense within royal circles that the King would genuinely welcome more opportunities to rebuild his relationship with Harry and spend meaningful time with Archie and Lilibet after missing so much of their childhood.”
