Recent reports suggest that it has ended up overtaking the annual revenues of the Sussexes’ Archewell Philanthropies in recent years. This development appears to speak volumes about William and Middleton’s popularity in the US.

According to Express, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s charity overtook Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s in the US. The Royal Foundation of William and Middleton has reportedly witnessed a significant boost, surpassing the annual revenues of Harry and Markle’s Archewell Philanthropies in recent years. This is proof of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ popularity in America, where the Sussexes are currently staying.
The Royal Foundation reportedly pulled in £8.7 million from its US office alone in 2025. This represents 44% of its overall £19.6 million income for the year. In 2024, the Sussexes’ charity made only £1.93 million in revenue, which was a decline from the £4.23 million recorded the previous year. The charity is allegedly now focusing on a “reset” after cutting down staff in December. Archewell Philanthropies also saw a rebrand in name from the Archewell Foundation in late 2025.
The Royal Foundation has worked independently from the Earthshot Prize since 2022. For the unversed, The Earthshot Prize’s total income was reported as £23.5 million for 2024. This showed a 68% rise in donations, from £12.8 million to £21.4 million.
Moreover, William and Middleton have both joint and separate initiatives through The Royal Foundation. The foundation has Middleton’s Shaping Us campaign, which is part of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood programme focusing on pregnancy and a child’s first five years affecting health and relationships. Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales’ Homewards project focuses on ending homelessness, and United for Wildlife tackles illegal animal trafficking.
