According to a source, Queen Camilla is reportedly unhappy with Meghan Markle‘s social media posts following the royal reunion. Markle, along with Prince Harry and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, met with King Charles and Queen Camilla for a royal reunion. It was the first time since 2022 that King Charles met his grandchildren in person.
Source claims Meghan Markle’s social media activity violated expectations surrounding her private royal reunion at Highgrove
A source recently told New Idea that Meghan Markle’s summer holiday posts on social media have reportedly upset Queen Camilla. The source claims that Queen Camilla had clearly told Markle to be careful not to leak any part of the private royal reunion online.
In the report, the source referred to Markle’s summer holiday post, which also included snaps of her family’s visit to the Althorp estate. Althorp estate is the childhood home and resting place of Princess Diana. The source told the outlet, “Camilla’s words appear to have fallen on deaf ears. She feels that she was clear about no social media posts, and if Meghan thinks Althorp was an exception, she was very wrong.”
They also suggested that Queen Camilla wanted Markle to keep the details private for Archie and Lilibet. However, the condition was that if Markle leaked any information, “the door” would remain shut for her “forever.”
Previously, a royal author told People Magazine that Queen Camilla was a “non-negotiable” for King Charles during his meeting with Prince Harry. A source told People, “It is better that people don’t know anything about these meetings. They should be allowed to rekindle those family ties.”
Prince Harry, Markle, and their kids met with King Charles and Queen Camilla in Highgrove on July 10. The meeting took place in secret, and authorities have not released any photos of the occasion yet.
