The highly anticipated third season of Shudder‘s The Creep Tapes is arriving soon. Written by Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, the popular horror series has recently announced the release date for Season 3.
The Creep Tapes Season 3 premieres exclusively on Shudder and AMC+ on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The first two episodes will be released together. The third season will feature a total of six episodes.

Who is set to star in The Creep Tapes Season 3?
The Creep Tapes is a found-footage horror television series that serves as the third installment in Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass’ Creep franchise. It premiered in November 2024 and returned for a second season the following year.
The series consists of videotapes documenting encounters between a serial killer, often referred to as “Creep,” and his victims. Each tape follows Creep manipulating his victims into recording the encounter before killing them.
Each season of The Creep Tapes features a different lineup of guest stars, while Duplass plays the titular serial killer. The upcoming third installment will star Kate Siegel, Nic Hamilton, Elliott Fulham, as well as Mark Duplass’ daughter, Ora Duplass. Other guest stars include Benjamin Kasulke, James Earl, Chris Gethard, Annie Henk, John Baker, Rehka Shankar, Jeffrey Self, Jeff Barnett, and David Nordstrom.
The Creep franchise began with the 2014 found-footage psychological horror film of the same name, marking Patrick Brice’s directorial debut. Brice drew inspiration from his own experiences using Craigslist when developing the story. It was followed by Creep 2 in 2017, with Duplass returning as the titular serial killer, and Desiree Akhavan playing Sara, his new target.
