Turns out even Marcello Hernández can get caught up in a full-on starstruck moment. During his Watch What Happens Live appearance on Monday, July 27, with 72 Hours co-star Kevin Hart, the comedian opened up about the wedding. He revealed that the most surprising guest he spotted at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s celebration was Tom Cruise.
“The most surprising thing I saw at the wedding was Tom Cruise. I got to talk to Tom Cruise, and he grew up in a house full of women, and we got to relate about that,” the 28-year-old gushed in front of host Andy Cohen. “I think just being around athletes that, you know, I look up to, it was like the ESPYS…”
Hernández was interrupted by Hart, who teased him about the wedding’s strict no-phones rule. “Oh, you saw more than that, ‘cause you were sending me videos. You were like, ‘Kev, I can’t believe this. There’s no phones allowed but look, I snuck mine in.’ Right, remember?” The ESPYS host burst out laughing before calling out the truth for Kelce, shouting, “I didn’t do that! Hey, yo, Trav, I did not do that!”
According to PEOPLE, Marcello Hernández was spotted entering Madison Square Garden in NYC on July 3 alongside his girlfriend, Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral. Later, he was photographed exiting the venue.
Greg Olsen was another wedding attendee who couldn’t stop talking about meeting the “Top Gun” actor. Speaking on the July 7 episode of Youth Inc., he recalled how Tom Cruise “went out of his way” to compliment his hat during “the cocktail party,” before the pair talked for a few minutes outside the restroom.
