Ex-Prince Andrew’s Future May No Longer Be in Britain — Source

Ex-Prince Andrew is reportedly planning to leave Britain. King Charles’s young brother was stripped of his royal titles after he was involved in controversies. Now, as per a source, the former Duke of York wishes to start a new life outside the UK.

Source claims Andrew sees little chance of rebuilding his life in Britain

According to RadarOnliner, Ex-Prince Andrew might settle in the Gulf as he doesn’t hope to rebuild his reputation in Britain. Sources shared that he trusts his daughters to preserve the York family’s place in the royal family. This is reportedly while Andrew nurtures his business relationships in the Gulf. A palace source stated, “Andrew knows Britain is no longer a place where he can rebuild either his reputation or his sense of purpose.”

The former Duke of York “feels every door has effectively been closed to him.” Meanwhile, “in parts of the Gulf, he believes people are still interested in the relationships he has cultivated over decades.” Moreover, there are “international connections he can offer.” Andrew thinks in the Gulf, “he is treated there as someone with experience and influence.” He is not simply “defined by the controversies that have overshadowed his life.”

Additionally, the 66-year-old “speaks as though the Gulf represents his best chance of carving out a meaningful future.” This is “because it’s the only place where he feels he is still afforded a degree of respect.”

Another insider explained, “Andrew has resigned himself to the idea that there is no realistic path back for him in Britain.” The ex-royal “believes public opinion has hardened beyond repair.” He also thinks “within royal circles, he will always be viewed as an outcast regardless of anything he does.”

Thus, the former York is “convinced that if he is ever going to regain any sense of purpose, relevance or personal respect, it will have to be outside the UK.” Andrew “sees the Gulf as one of the few places” to be “valued for what he brings to the table rather than” judged by his past. The insider added, “He’s now almost 100 percent ready to flee Britain for the Gulf.”
