Sources suggest that Prince Harry and King Charles could make the latter’s emotional reunion with his grandchildren happen. It’s known that the British monarch doesn’t intend to miss the opportunity to meet Archie and Lilibet. This comes after reports of Harry’s ongoing security concerns and the latest palace stay snub.
Meghan Markle and kids could still join Prince Harry’s U.K. trip if security is arranged, claims report
According to The Mirror UK, King Charles has asked his senior aides to converse with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. He reportedly wants to find a time in his busy royal schedule to meet his grandchildren. The report also claimed that Harry and Charles have had private conversations in recent weeks, with their talks reportedly taking on a “hopeful” tone. They stated that the conversations are still going, and there’s nothing definite decided. However, the reports say that the king wants to meet his grandchildren, and if there’s a way to make it happen, then he would definitely do it.
Harry and Charles’ ongoing talks also include plans to bring Markle and the kids for one day. Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex is also “frantically” trying to make extra security arrangements so that he and the family can travel safely during this trip. He arrived in the UK alone this Monday but reportedly wasn’t granted royal accommodation due to the last-minute offer withdrawal. For those unversed, the palace staffers claimed that he didn’t accept the invite by the stated deadline. Hence, they weren’t able to make accommodation arrangements.
Earlier, in a statement shared with CBS, it was noted that Harry “continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK.” However, another report argued that the family visit may not happen, as they haven’t been granted tax-funded security.
