Kieran Culkin’s Oscar Winner & More Hulu Releases This Week

Hulu’s new releases this week feature Kieran Culkin’s Oscar-winning movie and a slate of other new additions.

Arriving on Hulu July 16, A Real Pain (2024) follows cousins David and Benji Kaplan, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Culkin. David is careful and neurotic; Benji is magnetic and impulsive. The pair travels to Poland for a Jewish heritage tour to pay tribute to their late grandmother, a Holocaust survivor. As the trip unfolds, long-buried childhood dynamics and their opposite outlooks on life stir up emotional tension between them.

Additionally, Blippi’s Spooky Spell Halloween and Blippi’s Trick-or-Treat Halloween Adventure are releasing this week on Hulu on the same date. In Blippi’s Trick-or-Treat Halloween Adventure, Blippi and Meekah race to complete three tricky challenges. Meanwhile, in Blippi’s Spooky Spell Halloween, Blippi stumbles on an old book of “Spooky Spells.”

Also premiering on Hulu on July 14 is Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro. The show follows 12 up-and-coming dancers who live together and compete through a demanding audition. The prize is one spot as a pro dancer on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars.

Two additional premieres are heading to Hulu this week. The 2026 ESPYS Presented by Capital One streams on July 16, and the film They Fight debuts on July 17.
