Taylor Swift’s wedding guests were given time slots based on their closeness to the bride, claims an insider
A report by the Daily Mail suggests that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding reportedly had an A-list and D-list divide for guests. According to the report, attendees were ranked from A-list to D-list based on their importance to the bride. Guests were reportedly asked to arrive at staggered times based on the list.
Cara Delevingne, the supermodel, was reportedly placed on the D-list. She arrived at the wedding venue at about 2:30 pm, nearly three hours before the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper and Graham Norton showed up at 3:30 pm. Abigail Anderson, Swift’s longtime friend, arrived at 4:30 pm. Guests considered most important were reportedly instructed to arrive at the venue at 5:30 pm.
A source described the division of guests as “chaotic.” They said, “It was surprisingly chaotic inside. Arrivals were staggered, with people having to wait for hours with nothing to do. The cocktails only started at 4 pm. People literally were twiddling their thumbs for hours.”
The source further added that guests had their phones taken away. As a result, those who arrived early couldn’t even pass the time by checking their phones. The insider added that it felt strange to be standing at the venue with nothing to do, wondering why they had been asked to arrive so early.
