Taylor Swift‘s wedding decor was reportedly not all magical. An insider claimed that the singer and Travis Kelce’s theme for the special day was seemingly “fairytale garden.” However, the placement of props and the addition of a few unusual elements received criticism. They branded the decor “ghastly” and “bizarre.” According to the report, the celebrity couple’s teams allegedly failed to fully transform a stadium into a wedding venue.
Taylor Swift’s wedding venue had ‘bizarre’ fake trees, says insider
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding decor reportedly featured “bizarre” unusual items. A source told the Daily Mail that the decoration at Madison Square Garden was done “badly.” The continued, “I know everyone was saying how it was all decked out fairytale garden-style so you’d never even know it was Madison Square Garden – but apparently this is not true.”
Furthermore, the insider claimed that some flowers and vines were unable to “camouflage the plastic bucket-style stadium seats.” They added, “It was all quite ghastly and tacky. They had tried to cover up that it was a wedding in a stadium, and that failed.”
Aside from the badly wrapped garlands and flowers, the source also complained about the “huge fake plastic trees.” According to them, they were placed all over the arena, which didn’t seem appealing. Because of such “bizarre” placements, the wedding theme confused guests. Some assumed it to be an “enchanted forest,” while others thought it was “fairground Americana.”
Moreover, the insider claimed that the venue featured more odd items, such as traditional slot machines and pinball machines covered in pink, coral, and peach drapes. Additionally, the couple’s initials “T&T” were written on them.
Meanwhile, an earlier report suggested the wedding also featured fun games that let guests win designer bags. While women were said to take home a Dior or Chanel saddle bag as the prize, male winners got a gold bag.
