Taylor Swift’s Wedding Guests Had to Pass One More Security Check — Source

Taylor Swifts wedding guests reportedly had to undergo extreme security checks. According to a source, the attendees not only had to hand over their phones, but they also had to pass one more test. It was reported that the security personnel also checked for hidden cameras and other suspicious recording devices. For those unversed, the pop icon and Travis Kelce invited nearly 1,000 guests to Madison Square Garden on July 3.

Taylor Swift’s wedding guests reportedly had to undergo additional security checks beyond handing over their phones. According to TMZ, a source claimed that security personnel checked attendees for hidden cameras or recording devices.

Furthermore, they seemingly walked throughout the arena with a scanner to check for Meta smart glasses or suspicious devices. The outlet reported that Swift and Kelce’s wedding has a “strict no phone policy.” NYPD officers were allegedly asked not to carry their devices inside the venue.

Moreover, another report said that Swift and Kelce’s teams were monitoring guests who might have leaked wedding details. A source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that the couple might not sue the leakers but could reportedly never invite them to any future events. “They’re reading everything. They’re watching Instagram, TikTok, X, and every news story that appears. They know exactly who is talking and who isn’t.”

Meanwhile, the outlet previously reported that the invitees were “frustrated” as Swift didn’t share any details before D-Day. Allegedly, the guests were told to keep their schedules clear only on two days. “Everyone understands wanting privacy, but at some point it starts feeling like they don’t trust the very people they’re inviting,” the insider claimed.

Despite the small hurdles, the global sensation walked down the aisle at MSG and married her longtime beau, Travis Kelce. The venue displayed “Just T&T married” on big purple screens.
