After months of speculation, reports have finally revealed Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding date. A law enforcement official leaked the details to the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because superiors did not authorize them to discuss the events publicly.
Page Six was the first to exclusively report that Swift and Kelce will tie the knot on July 3 in New York City. This is after several media outlets reported that the pop star and her fiancé will wed on June 13 at her Rhode Island mansion.
Eventually, the outlet reported that Swift and Kelce will host their wedding festivities at Madison Square Garden in New York City. According to Page Six, the couple is set to host a rehearsal dinner at Infosys Theater to keep media attention and paparazzi at bay.
Interestingly, Swift has performed many concerts at Madison Square Garden Arena, but none at the Infosys Theater. The couple will host 1,000–2,000 guests at the actual wedding ceremony, according to reports.
Previously, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed that someone filed a permit for a “large event” at Madison Square Garden. Mamdani concealed the nature of the event. However, he stated, “We are fully prepared. There isn’t anything to share beyond that.”
New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said police “will of course have a detail in place” without divulging more details. The wedding crew has been diligently working around the clock to set up everything for the big day.
According to Page Six, the couple has set up a large castle and garden within the venue for the event. Onlookers spotted several workers carrying boxes.
