Prince William’s Reported Ultimatum to King Charles Backfires — Source

According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have been offered a royal residence during their stay in England for events tied to the 2027 Invictus Games countdown. The arrangement has allegedly reignited disagreements within the Royal Family over how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should be welcomed back.

Prince William’s rumored ultimatum is not working in his favor, claims source

A source claimed that Prince William remains deeply opposed to the idea of a warmer relationship between Prince Harry and the rest of the family. The insider alleged to BBC News, “William is unable to contain his temper and resentment when it comes to the Sussexes.” It further added that “the fact his father is rolling out the red carpet and treating Harry like this prodigal son is his very worst nightmare imaginable.”

The reported friction intensified after claims surfaced that William had threatened to “boycott Sandringham” if Harry and Meghan were invited to future gatherings there. While the reports have not been confirmed by the palace, insiders say the Prince of Wales has made his feelings known. “The heir apparent has made his position abundantly clear,” the source claimed to the National Examiner. They added, “He’s effectively telling his father, ‘It’s me or Harry.'”

However, the insider suggested that the strategy may not be producing the outcome William hoped for. The source alleged, “William’s ultimatum seems to be backfiring in his face.” They added, “From Charles’ point of view, he won’t be dictated to by anyone — least of all his own son.”

The source went on to claim that the monarch views William’s approach as “immature, obstructive and totally out of step.” They added that it has raised concerns about how the future king handles conflict. “It also makes him worry that his son doesn’t have the temperament to be king,” the insider alleged, “which of course is a red rag to a bull as far as William’s concerned.”

Neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace has commented on the claims. The reported tensions remain the subject of ongoing royal speculation as the Sussexes’ visit approaches.
