Prime Video has dropped the Reacher spin-off‘s release date alongside first-look photos. Essentially, Neagley will launch after Season 4 of Reacher ends.
Reacher spin-off Neagley gets new photos with release date announcement
Neagley will release all eight episodes on Wednesday, September 16. This schedule makes it available immediately after the Reacher Season 4 finale, which also airs its final episode on the same day (via Deadline). Audiences can transition straight from Jack Reacher’s latest case to the spin-off.
The announcement comes as a surprise regarding timing. Fans had long speculated that Neagley would release first, as it had a significant head start in production. Principal photography for the spin-off reportedly started on February 18, 2025, and filming wrapped around June 7, 2025. In contrast, production for Reacher Season 4 began later. As Deadline confirmed on June 17 last year, cameras had started rolling earlier that month, reportedly around a day earlier.
Now, the Reacher spin-off’s first look photos showcase Maria Sten reprising her fan-favourite role. The story follows “Frances Neagley, a private investigator in Chicago… When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil,” according to its official synopsis.
Alongside Sten, the ensemble cast features Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee, and Jasper Jones as Keno. Additionally, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole will also make appearances. Alan Ritchson will also guest star, ensuring a direct link to the main series.
Reacher Season 4 returns on Wednesday, August 12, with the first three episodes, followed by weekly instalments through to the finale on September 16.
