Gemini Man to stream on Paramount+ next month
Will Smith’s Gemini Man is set to arrive on Paramount+ next month. According to the streaming service, the action sci-fi film will be available to subscribers beginning July 1, 2026.
Gemini Man was released in U.S. theaters on October 11, 2019. The film follows Henry Brogan, a 51-year-old assassin who decides to retire after completing his 72nd mission. His plans are disrupted when he becomes the target of a mysterious operative capable of predicting his every move. Henry soon discovers that the person pursuing him is Jackson Brogan, a younger clone of himself.
He sets out to uncover who created the clone and why he has become the target. Smith stars in the dual roles of Henry Brogan and Jackson Brogan. The cast also includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Danielle “Danny” Zakarewski, Clive Owen as Clayton “Clay” Verris, Benedict Wong as Baron, and Ralph Brown as Del Patterson among others. The story was written by Darren Lemke and David Benioff.
The film received generally negative reviews from critics following its release. On Rotten Tomatoes, Gemini Man holds a 27% critics’ score based on 327 reviews. However, audience response was considerably more positive, with the film earning an 83% audience score. Meanwhile, on IMDb, the movie holds a score of 5.7.
It grossed $173 million worldwide, with around $48 million coming in domestically and $124 million internationally, against a budget of $138 million.
