According to Page Six, Prince Harry can bring his own security team during his UK visit with Meghan Markle and others. Sources said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing for a “huge spectacle.” Harry reportedly hasn’t received VIP security after fighting the British Home Office for 24/7 armed police escorts. The outlet shared the royal is in a “holding pattern.” However, he reportedly has been offered a royal residence with private security for his stay with his family.
One source also shared the family won’t travel by private jet but will have their own bodyguards. “Harry always travels with one of two of his own security team,” they said. Harry and Meghan’s tour is planned to celebrate the one-year countdown until the Invictus Games. Moreover, the Duke is expected to reunite with his father, who will finally spend time with his grandchildren.
The source shared the Sussexes’ “know it will make the biggest spectacle.” They continued, “They will want photos of them being ‘royal.” Recently, a royal expert shared how the King and Prince Harry’s is crucial, and the only hurdle is a diary clash. Former royal butler Grant Harrold spoke to AceOdds for the Daily Express. “I think the only thing that will stop it happening is if there is a diary clash,” he said.
Harrold continued, “The King goes up to Scotland for the summer, but I’m sure he will do everything he can to make it work.
