After she was spotted on what appeared to be a dinner date with Sean Evans, sparking fresh rumors about the pair, Keke Palmer shed more light on the relationship on Spotify’s Conversations That Channel Culture panel at Cannes Lions on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
Podcast host Jay Shetty asked Palmer if she was “serious about Sean Evans.” Responding to this, Palmer said, “We hangin’ out, you know what I mean?”
“First of all, I love Sean Evans — I love Sean, hey Sean. That’s my guy,” Palmer said (via PEOPLE), “You never know what can arise from there. We just take it day by day. One wing at a time, so to speak.” Notably, Palmer was not ruling out the possibility of romance between herself and Evans.
Their chemistry dates back nine years to an episode of Hot Ones, where Palmer made an appearance. Evans subsequently admitted in a separate interview that he had a crush on the actress. Palmer then made a second appearance on Hot Ones in 2025, when they shared a brief kiss at the end of the episode.
Furthermore, earlier this year, Evans did an episode of Palmer’s podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer. During the episode, the pair discussed their near-decade-long friendship and the viral chemistry. Evans said that Palmer was “obviously very charismatic.” He added, “You’re smart, you’re beautiful.”
