Karoline Leavitt Returns to Warn Donald Trump’s Reflecting Pool Vandals

Karoline Leavitt recently made a temporary return from her maternity leave to call out the vandals of Donald Trump’s newly renovated reflecting pool. Previously, five people were accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, and were later arrested. Consequently, Trump later issued a warning to them.

The White House Press Secretary, who is currently on maternity leave, recently commented on the vandalism of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

Karoline Leavitt shared The Washington Times article titled ‘President Trump vows to enforce law against vandalizing D.C. statues and fountains’ on X (formerly Twitter). Additionally, she reshared the article ‘President Trump Blasts Vandals For Attacking Reflecting Pool With Knives, Chemicals’ by The Daily Wire.

Moreover, Leavitt spoke with Fox News about the issue and blasted Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for his statement. The latter had suggested that the alleged vandalism issue is just an “imaginary problem.”

However, in her reply to Walz, Leavitt stated, “The vandalism is very real, despite what Tim Walz wants to say: ‘It’s an imaginary problem.’ No, it is not. It’s a very real problem. In fact, I spoke with the National Park Service just before joining the show. They now have 17 police reports that have been filed in just a matter of a few days.”

Karoline Leavitt further alleged that the vandalization of the reflection pool was the work of Democratic Party supporters. She also weighed in on Donald Trump’s vow against the alleged vandals. He spoke at the Oval Office in relation to the algae and peeling paint of the reflecting pool. The Republican leader said, “It’s vandalism. We have a 290-, 300-foot slit right through it, probably a box-cutter or a knife of some kind. They cut it very violently” (via USA Today).

Furthermore, Karoline Leavitt agreed with Trump’s vow to take care of the situation. She added, “That’s why President Trump is not going to stop with this effort. We’re going to not only hold those people accountable, but we’re going to fix the pool, make it, continue to make it beautiful from this despicable vandalism.”

As of writing, six people have been arrested on suspicion of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool.
