Taylor Swift secured a massive win for her OST “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5. The heartwarming OST has maintained its winning streak by ranking number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 for a second consecutive week. Notably, this particular song marks one of Swift’s biggest releases before her wedding to Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift’s new song stays at No.1 on Hot 100
Taylor Swift’s new song “I Knew It, I Knew You” earned the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 for a second week in a row. Notably, the song is inspired by Jessie, the cowgirl character from the movie. It became Swift’s 15th song to reach number one on the chart. With this, Swift has the third-most number-one songs in Billboard history, behind only The Beatles and Mariah Carey (via Billboard).
The song was released on June 19 after much teasing from the marketing team. The film has been clocking amazing box-office numbers since its release. The movie garnered $160 million in domestic ticket sales, according to studio estimates. It also had the biggest opening weekend of 2026.
Unsurprisingly, Swifties are ecstatic with the singer’s latest achievement. One fan commented: “She knew it, we knew it, Billboard knew it.” A second fan manifested: “As it should! We need 3rd week.” A third fan wrote: “Oh GODLOR, the certified hit machine you are!”
A fourth fan penned: “At this point, chart dominance is basically part of the job description.” A fifth fan chimed in: “At this point, #1 is just her home address,” followed by a slew of emojis. Finally, one fan shared: “Not being ironic but I’m literally obsessed with this song, especially after watching the movie.”
Taylor Swift shared a heartfelt throwback video with an equally heartwarming caption, dedicated to her new OST. The pop star wrote on Instagram: “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a Toy Story kid from the age of 5 till now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond.”
