Despite the ongoing feud between Donald Trump and conservative political commentator Megyn Kelly, Vice President JD Vance is set to appear on her show to promote his new memoir, Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith. However, the move has raised eyebrows across social media platforms, especially among conservative commentators.
Megyn Kelly to host JD Vance on her show
The US Vice President is set to appear on The Megyn Kelly Show despite Kelly’s feud with Donald Trump.
As per Megyn Kelly’s latest X (formerly Twitter) post, JD Vance will reportedly appear on her show to promote his new book, Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith. The book chronicles his conversion to Catholicism and the role of faith in his public life.
The appearance is a part of a broader media tour for Vance’s book. The tour has also included Fox News’ Sean Hannity and Vance’s debut on ABC’s The View.
Meanwhile, many, especially Republicans, were left confused by Vance’s decision to appear on the show, despite Kelly’s verbal disapproval of Donald Trump recently. The President has also called her out in recent months.
“Bizarre. Why would our Vice President go on Megyn Kelly’s show?… I find this to be insane,” Laura Loomer wrote on X in response to the announcement. Brent Scher, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Wire, stated, “Trump called her a loser, low IQ, nut job two months ago. Now his Vice President is going on her show to sell his book.”
Notably, the TV appearance comes as major questions lurk for Vance, including the big question of whether he will seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2028. On the other hand, Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, has seen a surge in popularity over the past months, becoming a candidate for the Presidential Elections next time.
Nevertheless, more details and reactions to JD Vance’s planned appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show are expected to arrive soon.
