President Donald Trump launched a profanity-laced rant against former President Barack Obama over the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal signed under him. Trump proclaimed that Iranians think of Obama as a “stupid son of a bi**h.” This came during a press conference with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

President Donald Trump raised eyebrows with his remarks about former President Barack Obama during a press conference with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Trump referred to the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal signed under Obama in the Press conference, calling out the former President (via The Mirror).
Obama’s plan was criticized for releasing 1.7 billion to settle an old trust fund dispute.
“So it’s like, look at this money he’s giving us. He tried to bribe his way out. I didn’t do that. Nobody mentions that. $1.7 billion and hundreds of millions of dollars. They tried to bribe their way out of it. And you know what the Iranians did. They laughed at Obama, and they said he’s a stupid son of a bi**h,” Trump said.
He added about his own deal, “It’s a memorandum of understanding, and if I don’t like it, we’ll go back to shooting at them, dropping bombs on their head. We’ll go right back to dropping bombs right smack in the middle of their head, because they misbehaved for 47 years.”
Trump’s comments came shortly after President Barack Obama shared his thoughts on the possibility of a new U.S.-Iran peace agreement. Obama said on ABC’s Good Morning America, “It is doubtful that any agreement that arises is going to be significantly different or a significant improvement from the deal that we had in the first place and had worked for a long stretch of time, before we, the United States, pulled out of it.”
