Reports suggest Prince William and Kate Middleton weren’t fully aligned on Prince George’s future
A report suggests that Prince William and Kate Middleton were not fully aligned on Prince George’s academic future. As reported by Express, the Waleses have announced that their son will attend Eton College from September.
An insider claimed that George is very excited about his academic journey and studying at Eton. While the Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly came to this decision in January, they waited a bit before officially announcing it. The source claimed that the Waleses wanted to protect their son’s privacy and therefore kept the news under wraps for a little longer.
As per the source, the decision was a challenging one as Middleton and William were allegedly not fully aligned regarding the same. They were reportedly also considering Marlborough College, a co-educational boarding school in the United Kingdom. It is the same institution where Middleton studied during her secondary education and excelled.
The Princess of Wales studied alongside her sister Pippa and brother James at Marlborough. The source said she was allegedly fond of the idea of her children following the same path. However, since Eton is quite close to their home in Windsor, they ultimately decided on it for George.
The source claimed, “The decision wasn’t just about George, they had to factor in Charlotte and Louis as well.” They added, “But ultimately they wanted him to stay near the family.” William is reportedly excited that his son is following in his footsteps and is “incredibly proud” of him.
The insider claimed that the couple’s kids are “the center of their universe.” They allegedly put a lot of emphasis on encouraging their children and being there for them because of that.
