Taylor Swift has spent the better part of two decades turning every major moment into a spectacle, from record-breaking tours to surprise album drops. So if reports about her wedding festivities with Travis Kelce are true, fans probably shouldn’t expect anything less than a celebration worthy of a sold-out stadium.
According to a new report, the pop superstar is reportedly bringing some of that signature Eras Tour magic to Swift’s big day, with a massive custom stage said to be under construction for a Madison Square Garden event that could host more than 1,000 guests.
Taylor Swift has reportedly commissioned a massive stage for Travis Kelce wedding event at MSG
Taylor Swift is reportedly bringing some of her stadium-tour magic to her upcoming wedding celebrations with Travis Kelce. According to TMZ, the pop superstar has commissioned a massive custom stage for an event expected to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York. Sources told the outlet that the structure is currently being built at Rock Lititz, a renowned production campus in Lititz, Pennsylvania, under tight security. The facility is known for hosting tour rehearsals and constructing elaborate stages for major artists.
TMZ reports that the stage is being assembled inside a warehouse “under lock and key,” with security guards patrolling the area. Sources added that the project is not connected to any current or future Taylor Swift tour. Instead, it is said to be intended for a wedding-related celebration involving Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce. Swift has a long-standing connection with Rock Lititz. The campus played a role in the production of her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour, while Clair Global, one of its subsidiaries, handled sound work for the record-breaking Eras Tour.
The report also claims that a live band will perform during the festivities, with some celebrity guests expected to take the stage themselves. TMZ’s sources say more than 1,000 invitations have reportedly gone out for the July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden, though several guests believe the actual wedding ceremony will take place separately beforehand and involve a much smaller group. Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed the wedding plans or the reports surrounding the Madison Square Garden event.
