Donald Trump cannot seem to escape allegations of sleeping during official events, with bystanders continuously sharing footage that depicts the President in a drowsy state. The latest clip that highlights Trump dozing off in a public place has come out of the recently conducted UFC Freedom 250 event, which took place on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Right after the conclusion of the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, snippets of the POTUS presumably taking a nap during the function started circulating on the internet.
Ed Krassenstein was one such social media user who took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to post a video of Donald Trump seemingly sleeping while a fight carried on. “How does this even happen? Trump appears to have fallen asleep at the UFC event at the White House? 25th Amendment Now!” he wrote as the caption of his post.
One Trump critic even mocked the Republican Party leader by writing, “Give the man a break. He is 80. We need to remember that he is an old man and old people need grandpa naps.”
However, not everyone agreed with the backlash against Donald Trump for allegedly sleeping during the recent UFC event. “Such great camera quality, all while looking through the fencing as well. Of course, this is sarcasm since it is so bad of a video quality you can’t tell if his eyes are open or closed. Cope harder DNC propagandist,” said one X user.
Another supporter of the President noted, “Well, if you were as old as him and worked as much as him, which you probably couldn’t, you would be asleep too.”
Meanwhile, in response to the discourse around Donald Trump supposedly sleeping during Freedom 250, spokesperson Davis Ingle told The Independent, “If you think President Trump was sleeping during the historic UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, you are either blind or stupid.”
