After Joe Locke, one of his Heartstopper co-stars might now be next in line to join the MCU. However, Kit Connor’s Marvel debut is currently speculation, and nothing has been confirmed. Meanwhile, Locke made his Marvel debut with the role of Wiccan in the 2025 series, Agatha All Along.
Kit Connor rumored for MCU as Heartstopper ends this summer
A new rumor suggests that The Wild Robot star might join the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon. If this happens, he would be joining his Heartstopper co-star Joe Locke.
Renowned internet scooper My Time To Shine Hello (MTTSH) recently shared on X (formerly Twitter), “Kit Connor is up for a HUGE Marvel role. Who do you want him to play?”
Notably, Connor has previously been fan-cast in the role of Teddy Altman, AKA Hulkling, opposite Locke’s Wiccan. However, there is currently no concrete statement from Marvel Studios regarding the same.
Furthermore, the 22-year-old English actor has previously revealed that he has been asked many times if he would appear as Hulkling in the MCU. Interestingly, Hulkling and Joe Locke’s Wiccan are romantically involved in the comics. Thus, fans who are aware of the chemistry between Connor and Locke in Heartstopper are eager to see him join the MCU alongside the latter.
However, previously, while speaking to Josh Horowitz, Kit Connor had denounced the rumors. He said, “No, I’m not, not that I know of. My friend Joe is heavily involved in Marvel and has an exciting project coming up. I wouldn’t wanna cramp his style.”
Locke also addressed the rumors during an interview with Metro in 2024. He stated that he has heard the rumors and added, “I’d love it if Kit was in the MCU. I love working with him, but I’m pretty sure that’s just a baseless rumor.”
Meanwhile, Joe Locke and Kit Connor are set to appear in the concluding Heartstopper project titled Heartstopper Forever. The movie will be out on July 17 this year.
