Beckham Family Responds to Claims Harper’s Visit to Brooklyn Was Staged — Report

The Beckham family denied claims that Harper’s visit to her brother Brooklyn’s home was reportedly staged. A family source dismissed the news reports and speculations as nonsense to The Sun. Harper was previously photographed arriving at Brooklyn’s Beverly Hills pad in an SUV, but left without actually meeting him.

Beckham family reportedly responds to staged claims about Harper and Brooklyn’s meet

A source close to the Beckham family has clapped back at reports that Harper’s going to Brooklyn’s Beverly Hills pad was staged. The source called the claims “clearly nonsense” (via The Sun).

For those unversed, Page Six reported on Friday that cameras captured Harper visiting Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz’s Los Angeles home. This is after the rest of the family gathered to celebrate David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame. As per the report, Harper appeared to show up at her brother’s house unannounced and left seconds later without actually meeting him.

A source confirmed to the outlet that neither Brooklyn nor his wife Nicola was present at home at the time. Brooklyn also shared on his Instagram Stories that he was in New York at the time of his sister’s appearance.

Harper had donned the same pink dress that she wore to her father’s Hollywood Walk of Fame event. A spokesperson for Brooklyn and Nicola dished to the outlet: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.”

However, based on a statement by the Beckham family, it is evident that matters haven’t been resolved between both parties. Harper’s attempt to visit her brother comes months after Brooklyn published a shocking statement revealing that he is officially cutting ties with his family.

He clarified he does “not want to reconcile with his family” and that he is “not controlled” by his wife. The amateur chef wrote: “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” Brooklyn claimed that for his entire life his parents have “controlled narratives” in the press about their family.
