Fans allegedly shared criticism about her placement at the stadium, calling her unworthy of the front row. This all happened in an outlet’s social media comment section, with Braun later sharing his response.
When he exited the venue, he addressed the reporters to share his game experience. He regarded it as the greatest game of his entire life. Moreover, he called Sweeney the “greatest Knicks charm of all time,” as she giggled around him. Revealing the sweet gesture from his girlfriend, he added, “[Sydney] surprised me with tickets in the same section with my pops and my brother so I could share it with them.”
He further said, “Let’s keep things positive and get one more! Greatest game of all time. Can’t stop smiling.” This comment comes after Braun recently praised Sweeney on Suzy Weiss’ Second Thought podcast. He said, “I’ve met an extraordinary woman, kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth.” He considers their meeting “one of the biggest surprises ever.” He also revealed whether he’s watching Euphoria Season 3, which has been surrounded by controversy over Sweeney’s Cassie storyline and portrayal.
“I am catching it. I’m biased, I like it. I think there’s been an incredible performance by a certain actress,” he added. The duo sparked romance rumors in 2025 when they were spotted together in Venice, following Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’ wedding.
