Mike Vrabel and his wife, Jen, recently celebrated their son Tyler’s engagement to Mariah Romano. The latter two shared an Instagram post highlighting the joyous occasion. In the last picture, the couple stood on separate sides of their son and his wife, and were all smiles.

“The most perfect engagement surrounded by the people I love most,” Romano captioned her post. These images come roughly two months after the Vrabels attended a 24-hour marriage summit in Park City, Utah. Page Six reported that the couple had dinner at a high-end hotel restaurant. The outlet added that the pair were “cordial and talkative” during their interaction but “not overly flirty.” They further stated that the pair “talked” and ate for half an hour, continuing, “It was a friendly, regular meal.”

Their outing came shortly after the outlet published photos of Vrabel and Dianna Russini from six years ago. These showed them getting cozy with one another at the Tribeca Tavern in New York City. As suggested by an image and according to an eyewitness, the 50-year-old—who “had a ring on, “and the former The Athletic reporter, “were kissing and all over each other.”

Following this, while Vrabel did not specifically address the photos, he promised in a statement to seek counselling to give his family “the best version” of himself. The New England Patriots coach added, “This is something that I have given a lot of thought to and is something I would advise a player to do if I was counseling them” (via ESPN).

He continued, “I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father and coach that I possibly can be. This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person. I appreciate the support that everyone has given me and promise a stronger resolve as a result.”

Earlier that month, photos of Vrabel and Dianna Russini holding hands and hugging at a luxurious hotel surfaced. The former initially dismissed them as a “completely innocent interaction” when asked to comment. However, he later said at a pre-NFL draft conference that he takes “accountability for [his] actions.”
