Prince Harry reportedly can’t maintain contact with his brother, Prince William, even if he wanted to. The duo has been estranged since the former and his wife, Meghan Markle, decided to step away from the British Royal Family.
It is also suspected that Prince William is not ready to reconcile with his brother anytime soon.
Prince Harry doesn’t have Prince William’s phone number, sources suggest
A recent report suggests that Prince Harry does not have Prince William’s contact number, which is preventing him from contacting him.
Journalist Dan Wakeford recently penned on Celebrity Intelligence about the relationship between the two brothers. Since Harry and Meghan Markle relinquished their Royal Family status, Wakeford suggested that his bond with William has diminished significantly.
Even if Harry wanted to communicate with his brother, it would be difficult as he doesn’t have his contact number. Wakeford wrote, “Harry doesn’t have his brother’s phone number. At this stage, sources close to the Duke of Sussex confirm, even if he did, William wouldn’t pick up. The man who was once one half of the most famous sibling act in the world is waiting for a call that may never come, and the silence has now stretched to nearly three years.”
According to Wakeford, sources have revealed that Harry misses being in contact with his brother and wishes they would talk. He stated, “Two people intimately connected to Harry tell that the estrangement cuts deeper than anyone on the outside realizes. ‘He sees William blossoming, and he secretly had hoped that William would have more of a struggle and need him,’ one says. ‘He’s been waiting for the call. That would be his dream come true. He regrets leaving.'”
He further added that the Duke of Sussex and Prince William last spoke in 2022 at Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral. After that, the former allegedly tried to speak to Prince William after his wife, Kate Middleton‘s, cancer diagnosis, but didn’t get a response.
