Ben Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, allegedly enjoyed a secret fling with Goldstein, with whom she had strong chemistry.
Page Six recently reported, citing a source, that the pair maintained a professional relationship while filming Office Romance. However, they noted that their “chemistry was undeniable.”
They further stated that Lopez and the Ted Lasso actor tried to be subtle about their romance during production but flirted occasionally on set. The insider continued, “Everyone saw them getting very cozy together at the wrap party and it was obvious they were into each other.”
Moreover, the source shared that the actors went on a date in early 2025, attending the Broadway play Oh, Mary! in New York City. Furthermore, they said that after production on the movie wrapped, the two “were free to take things further and dated for quite some time.”
The insider then noted that the romance lost its momentum. They explained, “They liked spending time together, and Brett made her happy. But things just sort of fizzled out between them since last year.”
Despite the termination of their relationship, the source said that they were still on good terms. “There’s no bad blood, but it just kind of came to a lull,” they elucidated. “They have a good friendship, but in terms of romantic chemistry, that ship has sort of sailed.”
The insider further noted that Lopez and Goldstein shared a strong, mutual physical attraction. They said that it didn’t become anything more as the pair realized they worked better as friends.
Notably, Lopez denied that she and the Shrinking co-creator were dating in an appearance on Today while promoting the movie. While addressing the rumors, she pointed out that people often linked her to celebrities she interacted with or worked with.
