Taylor Swift’s take on Travis Kelce just got a stamp of approval from Jason Kelce. In an exclusive excerpt shared with PEOPLE, the Kelce brothers give readers a sneak peek, and unsurprisingly, there is a mention of Taylor Swift as well. The Eagles alum confessed that Swift “nailed” her description of Travis during her record-breaking appearance on the New Heights podcast.
Jason revealed, “At the end of the day, I get to do this with my best friend on the planet. Everyone gets to see the guy we’ve seen all these years up close — the human exclamation point. Taylor really nailed it with that description. And I get to talk ball and life with my brother every week, and people actually want to hear what we have to say. Just another ‘What the f**k is going on?’ moment to add to the list.
For those unversed, the popstar guested on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast last August. This was the first time Taylor and Travis made a joint appearance on any podcast. The “Opalite” crooner couldn’t stop gushing over the Chiefs player.
Taylor shared that Travis epitomized a human exclamation point. The popstar described, “Travis is just a vibe booster in everyone’s life that he’s in. When you take a picture on your phone and you push the enhance color button, that’s what you do to everyone’s life.”
Jason gushed over Taylor’s description in a September appearance on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast. The Eagles alum shared, “The human exclamation point was the best way I’ve ever heard Travis described in my life. I think it’s such an accurate statement. The dude just brings joy to every place he ever is, and people love him. And he makes everything better.”
