Josh Duggar, 38, convicted in 2021 on child pornography charges and serving a 13-year, 7-month federal sentence, has been transferred from FCI Seagoville to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Fort Worth. The relocation came after his release date was deferred from Dec 23, 2032, to Feb 2, 2033.

This is the third time that Duggar’s release date has been deferred. No specific details regarding the postponement of the release date have been provided.
A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said, “Generally, there are lots of reasons why an inmate’s projected release date may go up or down – First Step Act time credits, program credits, loss of good conduct time for disciplinary reasons, additional sentencing” (via The Sun)
Duggar was convicted of possessing and receiving child pornography in 2021. Federal authorities had found hundreds of disturbing images and videos featuring infants and toddlers on his work computer.
Duggar’s past records do not help. He had previously spent two months at the Special Housing Unit (SHU), also known as “the hole,” for possessing a contraband cell phone. His explicit messages to his wife Anna also raise questions about his depravity.
Duggar has reportedly sent several messages that praise Anna for losing weight and suggest that she wear “something low cut” to celebrate. His texts also contain messages asking for skimpily clad photos of his wife.
Duggar is currently housed at the same facility as Joe Exotic (Tiger King), who is being treated for prostate cancer.
However, Duggar’s family has expressed growing concerns about his mental health, stating that the once-smiling reality star has struggled significantly with isolation and the weight of his crimes. They have been tight-lipped about the latest development, but the health scare is likely to open new wounds for the tight-knit family.
